United States Department of Education, Office of Federal Student Aid (FSA)
The United States Department of Education, Office of Federal Student Aid (FSA) needed to transform its legacy systems and operations through the implementation of its “Next Generation Financial Service Environment” (NextGen), a flexible, world-class financial solution. NextGen is already improving overall financial management and reengineering the customer experience. Blue Rose is on the ground making a major impact on borrowers, universities and financial institutions.
The Solution
We provide extensive support to our partner and lead solutions integrator, Accenture Federal Services, across multiple facets of the program. We are responsible for the creation of IT architecture and engineer resources to design, develop and field world-class IVR and cloud solutions, as well as development and integration services for the Optimal financial Processing Solution (OPS). Our IT services cross the spectrum of support, from DevOps personnel that provide 24×7 service, to high-end custom developers and engineers building cutting-edge solutions to improve financial operations and customer interactions. Blue Rose professionals know that they are not just developing code and supporting an ordinary operation; they are making a difference in the lives of students and graduates across the country.
The Result
With Blue Rose’s support, FSA is modernizing its technical and operational architecture. FSA was able to create a branded omni-channel engagement approach led by a mobile-first, mobile-complete, and mobile-continuous digital platform to support the complete federal life cycle of student financing. Ultimately, NextGen will improve the overall customer experience, improve operational flexibility, enhance cost and operational efficiency, and generate better outcomes for customers and taxpayers. Our performance in support of our Partner and Prime contractor, Accenture Federal Services, earned us the sole distinction of Accenture Small Business of the Year for 2020.
