Military Family Life Counseling
The stresses of military life are complex, requiring a wide range of problem-solving skills to address areas such as: deployment, frequent relocations, isolation from extended family members, children coping with the absence of a parent, child education, and spousal employment. The Military Family Life Counseling (MFLC) Program provides non-medical counseling, consultation, and outreach services to more than 200 military installations and nearby civilian communities in most all of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, United States (U.S.) territories and commonwealths, and over 25 foreign countries including areas considered hazardous duty/danger zones. The critically important, highly visible MFLC program is designed to rapidly deploy counselors and address the needs of military members and families whenever and wherever needed.
The Solution
Blue Rose supports the MFLC program with a staff of licensed, experienced social workers. Our Military Family Life Counselors provide a range of uniquely tailored services that address specific needs associated with military life. Through a combination of face-to-face and virtual sessions, Blue Rose professionals are servicing the needs of military, caregivers, spouses, family members and the Command.
The Result
The work that our counselors do has a direct impact on the readiness of our forces. Whether helping spouses find employment resources, working with children to build coping skills as they prepare to relocate, or supporting Service Members by relieving stresses that come from this environment; we are making a difference in the lives of tens of thousands that serve our Nation.
