A United Nations Development Organization
A United Nations development organization recognized that their envisioned level of fundraising had not materialized. Yet, the organization had continued to expand its global footprint and operations beyond the point at which the organization could continue stable operations. The organization needed to optimize its current structure, staffing levels and spending to achieve development impact more sustainably.
The Solution
Blue Rose professionals designed and executed a study to evaluate the current organizational structure, concept of operations (CONOPS), value delivery model, results, and spending to establish “development impact per dollar” (an innovative assessment approach in the development world).
The Result
With Blue Rose’s assistance, the client identified and executed a number of “quick win” changes to its organizational structure, operations and service costs. More importantly, the client gained a comprehensive understanding of how to dynamically assess and manage organizational commitments (program staff, spending levels, support requirements) required to achieve different levels of impact in balance with available funding.
